WEDDING FAQ

Where are you based?

I am based in Mount Barker, South Australia. I photograph weddings across South Australia including Adelaide, Barossa Valley & the Fleurieu Peninsula regions, too.

Will there be a second shooter?

Wedding photography packages include 1 professional photographer. I do offer options for a second shooter & recommend another photographer for weddings larger than 130+ guests.

What happens if you're sick on the day of our wedding?

Stress not! In the unlikely occasion I am unable to attend your wedding day, I will organise a suitable replacement to photograph your day. As usual, I will edit your photographs myself so your images will still reflect my style.

Do you back-up the photos?

Yes! For precautionary measures, I shoot the entire wedding on 2 memory cards & at the end of the day, I back-up the whole wedding 3 times over.

Can I have the RAW files?

To clarify, I do not offer RAW files. I understand it may sound unusual that after a long day of shooting you only receive 500-800 photos. Please understand that, for me, the editing process usually takes longer than the actual time spent shooting the wedding. I sort through thousands of photos selecting the absolute best from the big day. As a professional photographer, it is my job the remove photos that include blinking, talking, brushing hair from faces, etc. This is exactly why you will hear bursts of photos on the day.

Think of it like this, you wouldn’t ask your dressmaker to share the off-cuts from your wedding dress. They have worked incredibly hard to produce the final result - your wedding dress!

What is your turnover time?

Please understand that post-production is a lengthy process and is not something that should ever be rushed. This does take time, particularly during peak season. I do not out-source any editing; everything is done by me. The average wait time for the final digital collection will usually vary between 6 to 10 weeks post wedding depending on time of year.

Do you travel?

Yes, I do travel! Custom packages are available, however, I do ask for a small travel fee for locations that exceed an hour drive from home.

For long-distance travel, please keep in mind I will be arriving the day before the wedding as I will need to stay close by. It can be exhausting being on your feet after a long day of shooting so I try to reduce travel time as much as possible. For safety reasons, I will need to stay close by the night before & the night of your wedding day.

Do you have insurance?

Yes.

Do you offer video?

I'm a one-woman team so I only offer photography services at this time. The perks of being a wedding photographer is meeting & working alongside some amazing videographers. Flick me an email & I will be more than happy to send a list of referrals I've carefully compiled over the last 9 years.

Will you help us with the wedding timeline?

Absolutely! Prior to the big day, I compile a shooting timeline from start to finish. This includes locations, addresses, ceremony & reception start times, emergency contacts, etc.

Keep in mind, every wedding schedule is different depending on the type of photos you were after, day-light savings & travel time between locations. It is important that we meet up prior to the wedding day to discuss the timeline & to iron out the details.

How do we book you? Do you require a deposit?

To book or for more information, please fill out the form below with your wedding details & I will send through confirmation of my availability & wedding packages.

A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking & a wedding agreement will be emailed to you. Once this has been signed & the deposit received, this will secure your wedding date.

Payment can be made via Bank Transfer.

When we book you, what happens next?

Fantastic! Once booked, I recommend we meet up a few weeks before the wedding to chat more about your big day in detail. This can be done over coffee, your home, the venue or video call. We will chat about the wedding schedule, the moments you want captured & anything else that needs to be covered.
